Few restaurants do glittering art deco like Brasserie of Light at Selfridges, and for New Year’s Eve, you can expect an even more glittering experience. For £110, you can enjoy a chilled glass of Veuve Clicquot and an indulgent three-course set menu. As the clock strikes midnight, a guest DJ and live performers will help you celebrate in style as you enter 2026 in the best way possible!
Ring in the new year with an Italian twist at LAVO at The BoTree. Expect festive twists on Italian classics such as linguine lobster and Mediterranean sea bass, all in the beautiful setting of the restaurant, with its greenery, muted furnishings and romantic lighting. Perfect to go with your partner for a New Year’s Eve date night but equally fun with a group of friends! If you want to keep the party going, head downstairs to 77 – the new nightclub space beneath the hotel that is equal parts sexy and fun!
For the festive period, Berners Tavern are offering festive specials you won’t want to miss. To celebrate their collaboration with Skye McAlpine, designer of the Festive Tree at The London EDITION, diners can feast on a Chocolate & Chestnut Yule Log, served on one of Skye’s own TAVOLA plates, as well as a Chestnut Martini made with Belvedere vodka, chestnut syrup, and ice, all available until 31st December. Plus, £1 from every festive special purchased at Berners Tavern will be donated to Magic Breakfast, the children’s food and education charity.
For other great views of the city skyline and fireworks, head to The Nest, above the Treehouse Hotel. Expect a more relaxed atmosphere there, with ambient DJ tunes, festive cocktails and plenty of cosy areas to chat and enjoy the 360 views from.
You’ll be in the thick of the social scene at the whimsical Long Bar (which takes its name from its 80-foot long bar), nestled in the heart of The Sanderson hotel in Fitzrovia. Expect over 30 cocktails including imaginative offerings such as the Alice in Wonderland-inspired Wonderland Fizz with Grey Goose and citrus tonic, as well as an extensive wine, beer and spirit menu, plus tasty bar bites. Great for people spotting!
For the decadent amongst you, Madera has an epic New Year’s Eve on offer. Think a 6-course menu that blends bold flavours with refined elegance (guinea fowl with mole poblano, lobster al pastor and pistachio lemon mousse are just some of the highlights), signature cocktails and breathtaking views of the city – you can even see the legendary London fireworks from here – what a way to ring in 2026 in London!
For the festive season, the 1864 Rooftop Bar & Kitchen at John Lewis has enjoyed a frosty makeover thanks to its heated igloo pods and Christmas cabins which you can book out for craft cocktails and tasty sharing bites. Expect a magical experience thanks to twinkling fairy lights, and you might even spot the fireworks from your pod too.
If you’re looking for a tasty meal followed by fancy drinks, Aqua Kyoto has it all. Food-wise, expect to dine on mouth-watering omakase sushi and sashimi, as well as rock shrimp tempura and grilled meat and fish. At the terrace bar, you can try signature cocktails such as the Japanese Highball and the Reserved No-York Sours, as well as classic cocktails, wine and beer. For New Year’s Eve, you can book food and wine packages and enjoy live entertainment as well as unbeatable views of the fireworks.

If that sounds like your kind of party, book yourself into a crazy golf session now, plus try the seaside-inspired carnival games, and feast on street food and drinks while you’re at it.
There are so many activities to choose from at Oxford Street’s Boom Battle Bar, it might be hard to choose (virtual axe throwing, beer pong or shuffleboard anyone?). But for an outrageously fun New Year’s Eve, may we suggest the private Boom Box karaoke rooms? You’ll be able to choose from 100,000 songs, whether your jam is 90s pop, rock or ballads.
