A new season is finally upon us, so it’s time to store your Winter wardrobe for the next few months and freshen up your look with a mix of old favourites and new fashion buys. As usual, there are many, many trends to choose from, so we’ve done the hard work for you and selected the six that we think are really worth investing in.
Powder pink
It wouldn’t be Spring without a pastel colour or two now, would it? While we saw hot pink take centre stage a couple of years ago (thanks to the Barbiecore trend following on from the success of the Barbie movie), for 2025 we are looking specifically at all things powder pink. This shade happens to go very well with beige, so you can team your trench with pink ballet flats and a pink handbag. Or, invest in a stand-out dress, blazer or Spring knit.
Stripes, stripes and more stripes
Stripes? For Spring? Yes, groundbreaking actually. While of course florals are always a safe bet, this season, we are seeing many designers turn to stripes as their print of choice to update your wardrobe with. You can go down the classic route and pair a nautical Breton top with your favourite wide leg jeans. Or, if you’re feeling bold, take your cue from the catwalk and wear stripes head-to-toe. For example, try a colourful striped shirt with a pleated striped skirt or invest in a striped suit.
Whimsical accessories
If you don’t want to completely overhaul your wardrobe, accessories are the perfect way to update your outfits without too much hassle – plus, it’s a great solution if you’re on a budget. Be it jewellery, handbags, sunglasses or shoes, we saw one main trend emerge on the catwalk in New York, London, Milan and Paris at the SS25 shows: whimsical accessories. Think playful, colourful and romantic accessories that will add a dose of dopamine to any outfit. We love beaded necklaces, sparkling bags and colourful shoes to name just a few.
Shades of beige
We know beige might not be the most exciting shade on the colour spectrum, but it’s a classic for a reason. It goes with virtually everything, and most of you already own it in your wardrobe in some guise or other. Luckily, beige is getting the spotlight it deserves for SS25. If you don’t own one already, a beige trench is the obvious choice as it’ll see you through years to come. We also love tran-seasonal pieces like feminine blouses, A line skirts and tailored trousers. Feel free to add pops of colour with your accessories: red and yellow are huge right now.
Sporty spice
If you aren’t one for casual trends, look away now, because sporty clothes are set to be everywhere this season. Think 80s-inspired shell suits, colourful windbreakers, tracksuits in bright hues as well as more subdued ones, and, of course, statement trainers. This trend can be mixed in with more unexpected pieces to elevate it somewhat. For example, a zip-up hoodie can be worn over a silk blouse and pencil skirt, or trainers with a suit.

Masculine tailoring
With more than a little something 80s about it, the masculine tailoring trend is all about oversized suits with wide shoulders and loose tailoring, a la Melanie Griffiths and Sigourney Weaver in Working Girl. That said, you can make it a little more feminine by choosing to pair an XXL blazer with slim fitting trousers and a sheer blouse. At the weekend, throw said blazer over jeans and a white t-shirt.
