Plan your Black Friday on Oxford Street

25 November 2025

Oxford Street is the home of Black Friday so there is no better place to grab bargains and savings! We’ve planned the perfect day for you to ensure you bag the best deals and have a fun time doing it…

Plan your journey

Getting to Oxford Street is easy. If using public transport we recommend using the Transport for London journey planner to know the best underground and bus options, a top tip, avoid rush hour and travel post 9:30am – this means you will also get to Oxford Street at a prime time just as the shops have opened, with most shops opening at 10am. If you’re driving here then there are car parks nearby in Cavendish Square and to the west of Oxford Street only a 5 minute walk away from the shops.

Start with breakfast

A successful day shopping is only possible with a hearty breakfast – no one wants to be hangry when bagging the best Black Friday deals so start your day with a drink and pastry from ARRO Coffee or Krispy Kreme for on the go options. If you’re after more of a sit down, try the brunch menu at Madera for a Mexican take on breakfast classics. For the matcha fans, head to the viral spot Jenki inside Selfridges for everything from Iced Matcha to Matcha Latte. With breakfast sorted, it’s time to turn your attention to the shopping – the most important part of Black Friday!

Shop strategically

Whether you’re shopping for Christmas presents for everyone on your list or simply after a new pair of shoes and a warm coat for the colder weather, we have rounded up the best deals on the street for you to make the most of the sales. With over 1 mile of shops, Oxford Street is rather long so we highly recommend coming up with a game day plan. Whether that be starting at one end and making your way to the other, or just focusing on specific shops make sure you know the plan and stick to it. Shopping can be tiring at the best of times, so make sure you know what you’re doing…things can get busy on Black Friday!

Treat yourself to lunch

Shopping for deals can be tiring, so make sure to add in a lunch break to keep energy and morale up…we highly recommend 1864 Rooftop Bar & Kitchen, not only for its delicious Italian style small plates, but for its convenient location on the 6th floor of John Lewis. Yummy food and a great location to keep the shopping flowing…perfect if you ask us and their new festive igloos are a must-book. Find out more here.

There are plenty of great options close to the shops and only a moments stroll from Oxford Street. For quiet luxury opt for the London EDITION and treat yourself to a delicious meal at Berners Tavern after a long day of shopping. Wanting to be right by the shops? The BoTree is a 2 minute walk from Oxford Street and a mere 5 minutes away from department stores Selfridges and John Lewis.

Be comfy

Lastly, make sure you are wearing your comfiest shoes as you will be walking a lot. Don’t wrap up too warm, you will likely be in the shops that have their heating whacked up high, so avoid too many layers and finally, be ready to carry lots of shopping bags, so make sure you’re using a hands-free handbag, a cute crossbody will do the trick!
