Inspired by the warm ambience of the Italian coastline, Amalfi invites guests to relax whilst enjoying freshly made Italian cuisine. Allow yourself to be transported to the Mediterranean and tuck into delicious food. With a new menu on offer, Amalfi should be on your need-to-book list.
The menu showcases the very best of Italian classics. Order a cocktail while looking at the menu, we loved the Cherry Sour – beautiful and tasty in equal measures! And the Aperol Spritz and Limoncello Spritz are a must as well. Kick off your meal with a line-up of traditional Italian antipasti. The creamy burrata on a bed of rocket and lightly spiced tomato sauce with crunchy bread and balsamic glaze immediately takes you back to holidays in Italy. The Gamberoni prawns are generous and expertly cooked, while the Polpette meatballs are succulent and served with a rich pomodoro sauce that you’ll want to mop up with bread, it’s that good.
For the main event, go classic and comforting with the Lasagne Al Forno, layers of flavoursome beef mince with tomato and cheese – perfect as the cooler weather arrives. If steak is your thing, then the Rib Eye Steak will not disappoint…add parmesan and truffle chips and peppercorn sauce – your tastebuds will be ignited with this glorious mix of flavours! After something a bit lighter? The Mediterranean Salad has autumnal vegetables such as butternut squash and courgette, leaving you feeling nourished.
Be sure to save room for coffee and dessert – the true Italian way. Sip on your espresso and indulge in iconic Italian sweet treats. The Amalfi Cheesecake is delightfully light and not too sweet, with fresh passion fruit on top adding pops of flavour. Stay classic with the Tiramisu, layers of coffee flavoured cream and cake – this is one not to share, keep it to yourself!
