Simit Sarayi started in 2002 with only one desire: To serve fresh bagels to its guests anytime of the day with traditional Turkish flavours. The bagels are made fres and are always warm.
The food was not exactly warm after ordering and the bread and especially the vegetables were soggy. the place looks great from the outside and it is clean. location is great. service sounded good enough. BUT as for the food which is the main reason that I was there for is pricy and not satisfying.
Shockingly terrible. Greasy, overpriced and when I asked for something vegetarian they recommended the pepperoni ciabatta. Avoid
We've been served by Abdullah, very kind and good food. Thanks :)
Food: Flaccid, barely-filled, cold, tasteless, failures to satisfy.
Value: extremely overpriced, even for the city and location
The ONLY thing that is acceptable is the actual simit (the hoop of bread covered in sesame)
Tried three products on separate occasions. Never ever going back. Find the Ole & Steen two blocks away and be truly satisfied!!
Best place to sit and have a rest after a long day of shopping or in between. The food is tasty and fresh. Turkish coffee is nice . Always go back if I'm in an area that has this bakery around.
