Simit Sarayi started in 2002 with only one desire: To serve fresh bagels to its guests anytime of the day with traditional Turkish flavours. The bagels are made fres and are always warm.
I went to the shop inside bond Street Station (the smaller one next to Starbucks). Customer service was terrible. The lady got impatient when I ask what are the different food items on display. The reason is there isn't any labels, how is any new customers supposed to know?! The bad service kind of affect your impression towards the food even if the food looks good.
When I asked for a bag, she just gave me the bag and expect me to bag it myself. My previous experience in other Simit Sarayi branches was alright, not this bad.
Mediocre at best. Had 2 mini-pizza style items which were supposedly served hot, but were barely luke-warm. Overpriced for what they were - better quality and better priced items at Greggs. Coffee too was nothing to write home about. Service went no way to compensate for uninspiring food. Unremarkable all round.
The chocolate simit burned when heated, the waitress refused to serve the tea in class cup.
Will never come back
Overpriced ordinary food. A so called Turkish cafe with no Baklava but a strange Italian Tiramisu and a lot of simit.
The food was not exactly warm after ordering and the bread and especially the vegetables were soggy. the place looks great from the outside and it is clean. location is great. service sounded good enough. BUT as for the food which is the main reason that I was there for is pricy and not satisfying.
