The Big Day of JOY is returning to Oxford Street this year with even more festive cheer, exclusive offers and live performances! Come down on Sunday 7th December from 12-4pm for an afternoon of magic in aid of our Christmas charity partner, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Christmas is a time of giving, so help make Christmas feel like Christmas for seriously ill children by donating to our charity partner – Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Look out for GOSH Charity staff on the day and tap to donate, or visit their website and donate below. All proceeds will go directly to GOSH Charity.
Spreading joy & festive cheer
Don’t miss performances from our special acts along Oxford Street! Catch gospel choirs, vocal trios and musical acts from 12-4pm will be entertaining crowds with a mixture of Christmas carols and Christmas classics. If Feliz Navidad is your favourite Christmas tune, you’re in for a treat as a Mariachi band will also be making an appearance as well as a Brazilian samba band bringing the beat.

Look out for the GOSH representatives at each location to give back this festive season. At JD Sports stores, you can donate to GOSH Charity all day with donation points at the tills at both their Oxford Street and Bond Street stores. You can help make Christmas feel like Christmas for seriously ill children – what a special gift to give this year.

Classic festive activities
A special Disney Collaboration has transformed Selfridges into the iconic Disney Castle this Christmas and it is truly enchanting! Enjoy a most magical Christmas as the facade lights up with a dazzling light and sound display, twinkling daily from 5-9pm every 15 minutes.
Step inside to explore the Disney pop-ups throughout store and meet the famous Roaming Santa the magic maker of Christmas! Shop the different departments and tick everyone off your list in one go. We love the Selfridges Christmas shop – their biggest yet – for the joyful decorations and gift wrapping station, a real emporium of festive spirit.
John Lewis is must when it comes to Christmas shopping with the kids. A visit to their wonderful Santa’s Grotto in partnership with LEGO is a crowdpleaser for both parents and kids and will truly get everyone into the spirit of Christmas. Settle in for a festive story with Santa and share your Christmas wishes!
Head to Lush for a masterclass in reusable festive wrapping. Using Knot Wraps, a beautifully crafted piece of ornately decorated fabric that replaces the need for disposable wrapping paper, the service is free and staff can wrap anything you’d like! Join their festive bath bomb masterclass and make the perfect gift for a loved one this Christmas.
