Get twisty at the museum of illusions

Explore London’s first museum of illusions on Oxford Street, home to 60 thrilling, interactive exhibits that explore how illusions work. Developed in collaboration with artists, neuroscientists and philosophers, Twist Museum is the perfect place for kids to unleash their silly sides while testing their perceptions of colour, perspective, shape and sound.

 

Fuel up at Tasty by Greggs inside Primark

Sausage roll swings and doughnut seats? That’s only a taste of what you can expect at the newly opened Greggs inside the Primark East store. Snap a selfie on the iconic London bus with booths for dining in, or have some fun with the interactive Greggs phone box and vintage style bike. Food-wise, tuck into a menu of the usual favourites, including sausage rolls, bakes, pizzas, sweet treats and freshly ground coffee. Eat in the 110-seater café or why not grab a pizza sharing box and enjoy in one of the many green spaces near Oxford Street?

 

Get your game on at Microsoft

Did you know that there’s a free-to-play Xbox Gaming lounge at Microsoft? Kids can try out the latest games or even take part in a Minecraft build challenge on Saturdays from 1pm to 2pm (for ages 8+, register here). There’s also the History of Xbox exhibit that explores the evolution of gaming at Microsoft with everything from the very first prototype to the latest Series X console on display. After hours of entertainment and cutting-edge technology, don’t forget to snap a selfie at the Interactive Minecraft Video Wall.

 

Have a blast at Boom Battle Bar

Get ready for some competitive fun at Boom Battle Bar on Oxford Street! Choose from epic games like shuffleboard and crazy golf, all available for under 18s until 7pm each day. Feeling hungry? You won’t even need to leave the venue. Refuel with crowd-pleasing bites like burgers, nachos and more.

 

Ready. Set. Skate at Selfridges

Did you know there’s a place where kids can learn to skate right in central London? Tucked away on the first floor of Selfridges is an enclosed skate bowl (!) catering to intermediate and advanced boarders. Book a one-on-one skate lesson (£20 per hour) for your intermediate skateboarder wanting to up their skills. More advanced boarders can enjoy a free open skate session.

 

Experience the magic of Disney

Let the kids’ imaginations run free at the Disney Store on Oxford Street. From Cinderella to Star Wars, children and adults alike can enjoy the wonderful world of Disney through endless toys, costumes and merchandise spread across multiple floors. As the only physical Disney Store in the UK, this is a must-visit for your family-friendly adventure.
