Great location! Amazing breakfast selection as well as great room service options!! Nice size room, beautiful bathroom. NO pool. Beware of holding funds on credit cards; my card as well as my girlfriends card were BOTH charged full amount of hotel stay versus one card just being on file for incidentals. And we're currently waiting for the funds to clear.

Very disappointing for a large hotel. The concierge staff attending the bags were rude and tended to give more wealthy looking guests their attention. The room was clean however, our heated towel rail was faulty. We informed the staff and they said they would send someone up to fix it, in which we said not to bother as we were staying only one night. A maintenance man then came to our room at midnight, banging on our door and entering without permission to fix it. Location handy if you need a tube station, want to shop on Oxford street or visit Kensington Palace. Won’t be coming back, plenty of other hotels around that actually treat you like valued guest.

Update: June 2018
I've been back quite a few times, and even recommended the hotel to friends, however I'm disappointed I am never remembered for my loyalty, and feel a different atmosphere since previous stays.

Most recently, the air conditioning was broken, however after a short while they changed my room which was great, however there was an unpleasant feeling generally from the staff.

The next morning I went for breakfast. Being a frequent guest, I was greeted by one of the great familiar staff, however she was subsequently told off in front of me belittling her, embarrassing her for greeting one of your regular guests, and then scared to say goodbye as I left.

I am returning next week to say goodbye to the great staff there as I'll be choosing a different hotel in future. Shame.

Update January 2018
Lately I have been staying in this hotel with work on multiple occasions. These are my comments...

One of my most recent stays I was kindly assisted by Ewelina, nothing was too much trouble and was very helpful, which was great!

The location is great (right by Marble Arch) and the double windows blocks the noise from the road which is also good.

There is a good selection of evening meals which are nicely prepared, and there is a very good selection for breakfast.

A few stays had not been so good, however they have done a lot to turn this around, and have been very attentive subsequently.

All in all a great place to stay in a convenient location.

Good location, good breakfast. That's where the good ends, the air conditioning in my room broke 4 times during my stay, room was very hot, most of the power outlets didn't even work so it was a challenge charging your phone, not to mention they had very loud construction workers hammering away since early In the morning waking everyone up, definitely would not recommend.

Decent rooms, if a little tatty and starting to look tired around the edges. Checked in quite late, around 10:30pm, after a delayed flight. The check-in queue was huge and it took ages to get my room and key. My room was in a different building down the road which seemed a little odd. Breakfast was OK but the cooked breakfast could offer a little more choice.
