Very good Hotel with perfect location. Room was big and cozy and hotel staff was highly professional. I had a high fever on our last day and flexible hotel manager let us stay in our room couple extra hours. We paid of course... Sorry to hear that legendary Cumberland is closing... But we'll be back in Hard Rock Hotel.
This is, by far, one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. Our bathroom smelled of urine. We had to make three trips to the front desk before we got a key that actually worked. We ordered ice and it took well over an hour and my husband going downstairs to speak with the concierge before we got it. We were given one washcloth, there were two people in our room. The restaurant, on Friday night, did not have a bartender during dinner time. We called repeatedly to both housekeeping and the front desk with no one answering. The heater did not work. We were told it would be repaired. It is our third day here and still no heater. While we were in the room, housekeeping came in without knocking, we were in bed. It does not, by any means, deserve four stars.
Is now the Hard Rock Hotel.. a great place to cone for a meal and a drink. ..a stay in one of the rooms and buy a gift or two from the Rock Shop.. also they have live music every night
Now the hard rock hotel. Had a look around the lobby. Very nice looking hotel. Loddy has a memorabilia on the walls. Huge bar and food area. There was a stage to suggest live music.
The staff is nice and the hotel is well located. But definitely doesn't worth the 4*. Cold inside...unbelievable the windows have only one glass sheet and no heating. In construction now so access is some long way underground.
