Pizza Express on Barrett Street is one of the liveliest restaurants in St Christopher’s Place, and its versatile character makes it just as suited to a leisurely lunch post-shopping or an evening meal with your friends. The al fresco dining area is particularly buzzing during the summer.
We went to the jazz club and had food in the restaurant. It's very expensive providing it's the pizza, wine and ticket for £80 per person! You can't use the two course meal deal in the jazz club, but it's fine to use it in the restaurant which is two steps upstairs? I don't think I will go again it's a total rip off. Or eat somewhere else beforehand but never order food in the jazz club.
One of the best jazz venues in London. Intimate tables, low lighting, great atmosphere. The food is good and not too expensive. Plenty of interesting acts throughout the year. Book well in advance for a good table. I thoroughly recommend this venue.
Great jazz venue and you get to eat pizza express at the same time - yum! It's quite cosy - we did feel a bit packed in around the tables - but that kind of added to the atmosphere. One thing - we saw a brass band - and it was LOUD! But was also really impressive - real talent shown here. Will definitely return.
Excellent taste, beautiful location in the heart of the city, minutes from the station.
We have eaten pizza carbonara , lovely cheese cake with ice cream and chicken wings, everything was excellent cooked with range of herbs and nice wine.
I will definitely go there again.
Our waiter wasn’t very polite and was watching us from above like we were aliens but I don’t blame him because may be he had a bad day. The other waitress later was splendid and exclusively kind with us! Keep going guys :)
I would definitely recommend!
Always a favourite of mine. Good food for the money, and a nice atmosphere in the edge of Soho.
