Pizza Express on Barrett Street is one of the liveliest restaurants in St Christopher’s Place, and its versatile character makes it just as suited to a leisurely lunch post-shopping or an evening meal with your friends. The al fresco dining area is particularly buzzing during the summer.
Really enjoyed this place. Great place to see some jazz in an intimate setting. These types of places don't really exist much anymore, so it's great to experience it. I saw a New Orleans jazz band, and while it's not my style of music, I had a blast! Pizza is really good as well.
Been to the Jazz before and loved it.
However popped in today for a late lunch, it was reasonably quiet.
We sent our garlic bread back twice as it was raw dough under the surface.
Restaurants manager offered no apology and said that's how it's served. The thing tasted of flour.
In the end I asked for dough balls
Ate here with four yesterday evening. Pleasantly surprised. Fair food for a fair price. My spinach artichoke risotto was amazing! Would definitely recommend. I also had a weird fuzzy strawberry soda. Very sweet, but was nice to have a special drink for a chance. Will definitely be returning again to hear some jazz and try something new of the menu. The pollo pesto is great too. Good service.
A very friendly and welcoming environment and my sister and I loved it. The staff were so very quick to answer questions and the food was lovely. Definitely would visit again.
Updated: Its rather good. I mean - the-livery is fat&forious. Cheep and cheerful. Don't expect pizza to be anything special. Its McDonald of Pizzas - I ordered 2 Go and ate before Elvis left the building. Nithing to it - good place if you never had pizza before.
Awful garlic bread - it was a piece of bread dipped in oil ' no garlic! No cheese. In a hot today shedule no pizza.
- update : it was better than before. They have a lot better pizza than opposite the street at PILGRIMS! Also, new staff. Very polite. Only one question... WHY IS YOUR PIZZA THE SIZE OF A SANDWICH!
