Pizza Express on Barrett Street is one of the liveliest restaurants in St Christopher’s Place, and its versatile character makes it just as suited to a leisurely lunch post-shopping or an evening meal with your friends. The al fresco dining area is particularly buzzing during the summer.
My favourite place to go for live jazz. I took out membership and have managed to make enough savings that was able to pay for my membership in a few months.
I've seen many of my fave jazz musicians here such as Euge Groove, Peter White and the legendary Bob James! It's so nice to be up close and personal to these jazz artists. Although I love the venue, I gave it 4 stars as the pizzas are only okay.
Jazz club is located under Pizza Express where tables are set in front of a small stage ready for the evening (or lunch) time band to play. You order Pizza Express food as usual via table service and simply enjoy the live show.
Strongly recommend a visit which is booked online.
This Pizza Express has been here for years and it's always been lovely food when I've eaten there. It can get super busy though in the evenings so if you are in a rush just been aware as the staff are friendly and speedy but sometimes you can feel a little ignored due to how busy they get. Saying that though I've never had bad food here and the staff have always been polite.
Beautiful food and ambience. Our waitress was really attentive and made great suggestions. Alex the RM was absolutely wonderful in accommodating us too! His laugh warms up the room
We sat at the table and merely enquired if any coupons or vouchers were available to use for the day, the answer was a brisk 'no' followed by 'do you want to go and eat somewhere else?' food delivered Cold and service generally terrible. Do not recommend due to racist calibre of staff.
