Ping Pong are known for their Dim Sum (点心 translates as: 'to touch the heart'), beautiful flowering Chinese teas and cocktails with a twist.
What appears to be a small restaurant, although it is not as they have sitting space underground as well. It feels crammed has stools to sit on which are not really comfortable. Proper ventilation is lacking which causes build up of moist warm air which makes the whole area feel even more tight. Service is good. Food is slightly costly and well I have had better. Dim sum were too soggy
Very poor restaurant. We went after lunch time and were surprised by the lack of customers. The waitress was useless and we had to wait ages for our drinks. Customers had begun to come in and food was being served to them but nothing was being delivered to our table. We asked twice where the food was and were told it was on its way. An hour after arriving, with half the meal missing we told them we wanted to leave. They attempted to charge us for the missing food. Needless to say I refused and they eventually relented. No apology, terrible service. I wouldn't go there again.
Terrible expensive “dimsum” ... pure mush. £25 for all you can eat and then they put £12 service ! Ended up being £34 each and we didn’t even have alcohol. Never again. Go to China town for real dimsum
Fast, reliable, quality food and helpful staff, if rushed and small space.
Low price of dishes is somewhat deceptive as the portions are small, so you need to order at least two dishes for a decent meal. Bottled beer prices are silly for a basic cafe style restaurant like this. Service is OK.
