Mole Taco Bar is a boutique Mexican and South American restaurant hidden in buzzing St. Christopher's Place, just moments away from the bustle of Oxford Street. Mole Taco Bar's motto is to present a fresh twist to traditional Mexican, Peruvian and South-American dishes, served simply with a lot of love and creativity, all under the waking eye of Frida Kahlo.
Overpriced bland food. The tacos were twice as expensive as they should have been and the burger lunch menu is not worth 12 pound, never mind the 14 pound to have a drink with it. The manager we spoke to clearly didn't care about our complaints which just further soured the experience. We won't be going back.
Lovely night out. Friendly service and food & drinks were lovely. However very expensive for such small portions. Patatas bravas and shell crab tacos were the best dishes.
Expensive tapa-sized portions. Convenient location. Beans and chorizo was tasty.
Overpriced. Tacos are not real Mexican tacos.
I ordered tacos with chorizo and potatoes; mainly filled with potatoes. The Octopus not tasty at all. King prawns has not flavour whatsoever. This place just takes advantage of the location but not real Mexican cuisine. A travellers trap.
Tacos with a little twist. Thinking outside the box with a creative blend of flavours and fillings.
Really good creations. However, I believe they can do better with the quality and freshness some fillings.
