I loved the interior and atmosphere there. It’s located on busy street and so much going on there. It was my second time there and I’ll definitely come back. Best fish and chips.

I was underwhelmed by this pub. A few decent beers on tap but the place was let down by its bar staff, whose attitude and demeanour left a lot to be desired. Seemed to serve at random no matter how long you waited at bar. I eventually had to leave after waiting and failing for about 10 minutes to get a drink. There’s plenty of more welcoming pubs nearby.

Unfortunately there was a series of events that led to this 1 star review. Firstly I ordered two pints of ale and unfortunately the guy behind the bar didn’t quite know how to pour a pint of ale, it had a huge head meaning we didn’t quite get a full pint. Secondly it took 40 minutes for them to deliver the food. Thirdly, I ordered a hunters chicken which is means to come with chips, onion rings, coleslaw and salad. There were no onion rings or coleslaw, when I queried this the staff member took my full plate away to get this rectified. About 5 minutes later he returned with the same plate with the addition of 3 onion rings, there was no coleslaw as they didn’t have any. It was just a poor experience overall. The table next to us complained because they also waited 40 minutes for their food and a gentleman on the table accross from us sent his food back because it was cold. Given it is central London and therefore the prices are slightly higher, you’d expect a bit more than what they offered.
