Absolutely delicious. Had the Tonkatsu. Price is a little high around £10-£13 but would definitely go here again because of the atmosphere and taste.
What a shame, I really wanted to like this place from the convenient location near Tottenham Court Road station to the nice interior design and casual seating. However, that is where the buck stops as the food is below average and simply not worth the money.
The two mini steamed bun starters I had we're dry and my main was chicken curry. The whole point of chicken curry is the sauce and that you get enough of it. That was not the case as they hardly gave any curry sauce to the point that half way through my meal I was eating plain dry rice and breaded chicken. When I told the waiter he said others have complained about the lack of sauce but that is just how we serve it. What made it worse was the average taste of the curry sauce to the bland breaded chicken. You know their is a problem when the best part of the meal is the plain boiled rice. I will not be going here again.
Probably not the cheapest place for ramen, but it's certainly the best. Staff were very friendly, they sound a gong every time you enter and leave the premises. The food was very filling and delicious.
You are greeted cheerfully in Japanese when you arrive. Service and food were excellent. Its a chain, but a good one in terms of food. Beware of the "service charge" as that does NOT go to the waiters (my reason for not giving 5 stars). Ask for it to be removed and tip the same amount in cash.
First time I tried Ramen, that's AWESOME! Loved it. Completely different flavours that I'm used too. Definitely coming back. Tried several ramens and this one is definitely my favourite. Even the decoration is so cool
