The venue and views from the terrace on the 5th floor. The service is very poor, I arrived at 12.30 there were only a few people already seated and enjoying their drinks. I waited for 10 minutes for a drink and was ignored by the manager as I stood alone at the bar, I was told that there was no table service but there was, I think he was just sending me to the bar so he didn't have to serve me. My friend arrived an hour later and the poor service carried on, he started a tab to avoid having to go to the bar but our drinks took so long and a couple of times I suspect we had been forgotten about as other tables around us that had ordered after us, got their drinks before us. Figure that one out....we left shortly after, out of pure frustration and the fear if we ordered food, it may take an exceptionally long time or even arrives at all. I am annoyed that I had to leave my favourites bar, when a few basic service skills could make Aqua even better.
Certainly got nice atmosphere. We visited on Friday evening. The food was good as well as cocktails. You don’t need to book for drinks at the nice outdoor rooftop bar. And late evening there was a DJ too.
All the staffs were professional and nice.
Went for a special event and it certainly has a "Wow!" factor, in terms of size. However, it was far too dark, and it was difficult to see the food on the plate. The food was generally good, and looked good on the plate. Some things worked well taste-wise, but the avocado ice-cream that accompanied the starter was under-seasoned and had no discernible flavour. The portion sizes were very small, no bread was served, and the wait staff were hit and miss. If you go for dinner, either have a big lunch, or a light snack when you get home. We stopped and got a takeaway! Even though the service charge was discretionary, we had no choice but to pay it since this was a special event and we were billed in advance. Additionally, we had to pay £5 each for "admin" on the price per person for dinner. There are better places to go in London for a nice dinner, at that price.
Nice rooftop bar with views. The food was nice, we ordered a tapas platter which very tasty. Both drinks and food were expensive but typical for London prices and the venue location with its luxury decor and views afforded the extra cost.
Fantastic tapas - small plates, well prepared and presented with friendly service. Accompanied by a good selection of wines in a wonderful atmosphere. There were a few mistakes with the order, but would still thoroughly recommend. 》Please Like helpful reviews《
