Following the latest government advice, all businesses other than those providing essential services will be temporarily closed from Thursday the 5th November until it’s safe to reopen. Many of our stores will continue to operate click and collect services and be trading online. Our nearby restaurants and cafés will remain open for takeaway and collection.

You can continue to support your favourite brands and businesses during this difficult time by shopping online, purchasing gift cards and getting your food fix from restaurants. To see who is still open for business, we advise checking out your favourite brands social pages. We will continue to keep you up to date with the latest news from Oxford Street and our stores. Plus weekly festive inspiration to keep the Christmas magic coming through our website and social channels @oxfordstreetw1.

Essential businesses open on Oxford Street

Cycling In to Oxford Street

We’ve been working to increase the number of outdoor cycling bays and indoor parking hubs. We’ve also worked with the Met Police to put new security measures in place which means you can spend even longer enjoying the delights of the West End, safe in the knowledge that your bike is secure. See our Christmas lights

Whilst England is in lockdown, if you’re able to travel safely to Oxford Street then a walk from Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road or vice-versa is a hearty stretch of 1.5miles. A perfect opportunity for those living nearby or travelling in for essential work to experience our illuminating Christmas lights display which this year celebrates our 2020 heroes and features a love letter to London. We love to see your Oxford Street moments, from our Christmas lights to our festive window displays so be sure to share your photos with us by tagging @oxfordstreetw1.
