Oxford Street: On The Rum

Know your mojito from your mai-tai? It’s officially #NationalRumDay on the 16th of August, so we look into the best hide-outs and spots to take your rum cocktail to the next level…

Mole Taco Bar

We hear you – it’s a taco bar… but it is also a killer cocktail bar, the tacos are merely a bonus!

We recommend the ‘Los Muertos’ which is a punchy blend of Kraken Black Spiced Rum, Admirals Tiki Fire, Bacardi Carta Blanca,  Bacardi Carta Oro, Creme de Banana, Creme de Abricot, Pineapple and Lime. Boom.

London Edition: Berner’s Tavern

Finish your evening of gallivanting about Oxford Street with a fancy cocktail at the London Edition Hotel’s Berner’s Tavern. Their cocktail menu is curated and tells the story of the Berner’s Street Hoax… Drink to find out more.

Created with Banks 7 Rum, Bacardi 8 Rum, Gula Java Syrup, and Orange Bitters, the One Coffin sounds like everyone’s cup of tea. And, is hopefully as dangerous as the name suggests.

Balan’s Soho Society

Deep in the heart of Soho, Balan’s seeks to eradicate the wet blanket, the jobsworth, and the killjoy. We think the best way of doing so is by adding a few rum cocktails to said human. Simple.

One cocktail that’s bound to help is the ‘Gettin’ Figgy With It’ which includes Ron Abuelo rum, Tuaca, fig liqueur, lime, and ginger beer. No bores allowed!

Mews of Mayfair Cocktail Bar

Meet me at the mews is a collection of food and drink hotspots in the heart of Mayfair. The speakeasy style cocktail bar, Cartizze, is the perfect hideaway to sample the many fancy Rum Cocktails.

Our favourite is the Royal Mojito! What makes it so royal you ask?  The sweet blend of Santa Theresa Rum, Lime, Mint, Brown Sugar, Veuve Cliquot NV. Fit for all you Queens 👑
