And Doing It In The Best Way Possible – with Brunch!
In celebration of autumn, famously known as the ‘season of appetite’ in Japan, Aqua Kyoto is set to introduce a new vegan Soba Weekend brunch menu, in time to support the annual ‘Go Sober for October’ awareness campaign organised by Macmillan Cancer Support.
Their brunch menu will start with a variety of vegan dishes including Edamame, Miso soup, and a Sushi Platter. You will then be invited to choose your main, from a selection of dishes including Aubergine with green chilli miso, Matcha green tea soba noodles, and Japanese mushrooms with onion teriyaki before finishing with a Dessert Platter featuring VG Dark chocolate figs with yuzu, Soya panna cotta and Mango & passionfruit mochi.
To accompany the set brunch menu, guests can choose between two refreshing non-alcoholic free-flowing cocktails, the Lychee Lemonade featuring fresh lychee, ginger, lemongrass & lemonade and Passion for Plants cocktail with Passion fruit, yuzu, vanilla and soda – which one is a bit of you?
The stunning new menu will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 12p-2.45pm for £40pp and with the addition of free-flowing non-alcoholic cocktails for £65pp. Every Saturday there will be live entertainment with a DJ set from 12pm-4pm, offering Londoners a ‘soba’ sanctuary hideaway throughout October… If you’re thinking this couldn’t get any better – £1 from each Soba brunch menu will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support’s campaign Go Sober for October!
In addition, Aqua Kyoto will be refreshing its à la carte menu with an array of new autumn dishes to pay homage to the Autumn appetite, 食欲の秋” (shokuyoku no aki) so if brunch isn’t your bag, Aqua Kyoto still have you covered!
