Our very own Oxford Street John Lewis store are offering the ultimate experience; staying over in its beautiful, fully furnished apartment named The Residence. As part of its Autumn Exclusives campaign, John Lewis welcomed shoppers with open arms to enter its prize draws that could win you an overnights stay and a delicious dinner served at the stunning table set inside the apartment. These competitions have now closed, however the sleepovers will be running throughout October so be sure to keep an eye out on social media for people’s experiences.
But you don’t have to fret about not entering in time for your chance to wander around The Residence, it’s currently open to the public!
Every inch of the apartment is decorated and furnished with John Lewis products from cushions to cutlery and desks to dinner plates. Inside the apartment is an open plan kitchen (stocked with Waitrose snacks) and a living room with space for relaxing and reading. See more pictures on our Facebook here!
The luxurious bedroom, complete with feet-sinking carpet, has a large double bed dressed in John Lewis’ finest bedding. A chandelier hangs over the bed and the room is complimented with the subtle, homely touch of slippers and robes.
Be sure to have a wander round when in-store & more importantly, enter the competitions to stay and have dinner! It is one entry per person, which is all the more reason to spread the word with friends and family.
John Lewis is also running daily workshops at 1pm and 6pm. At 1pm, every day, you can learn all about how to dress your table for dinner with hints and tips including playlist advice! At 6pm, there is a rotation of 2 workshops; the Sleeping Workshop & the Lighting Workshop. The lighting workshop can offer expertise on creating the right ambiance in your home, whereas the sleeping workshop can help you with finding the perfect pillow, the best bedspreads and linen.
We’d love to know your thoughts on the glamorous apartment and if you’d love to be treated by John Lewis! Remember to follow our social media for more information with all things Oxford Street; Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.
