ALTO by San Carlo at Selfridges

Standing high above the hustle and bustle of one of London’s most iconic department stores, Alto is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous (and Instagrammable) rooftop bars in the city. Complete with masses of green foliage and citrus trees overhead, this alfresco sun terrace sure has chic Italian style. Alto is the perfect place to stop for a drink or two. If you are a wine drinker, you’ll love the extensive list of Italian wines. However, if cocktails tickle your fancy, the bar is lined with expert bartenders who rustle up spectacular cocktails to enjoy in the sunshine. The Italian tapas style menu will surely transport…. You’d be silly to miss it.

Toy Roof at The Courthouse Hotel

Situated above The Cavendish Hotel in Soho you’ll find a very funky open-sky roof terrace known as Toy Roof. The views surrounding the bar make it the perfect place to sit back, relax and escape from the chaos of London’s West End with a drink in hand. The drinks menu features numerous mouthwatering alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. You’ll find drinks like the Terrace Toddy, the Irish Coffee and the Spring Royale. There is also a wide range of wines, buckets of beers and plenty of spirits to choose from. If you’re celebrating, maybe treat yourself to a magnum (or two)! This really is a great spot for Easter weekend fun.

Gardening Society Rooftop at John Lewis

High above Oxford Street stands a charming rooftop garden known as The Gardening Society. Inspired by London’s love of music and entertainment, the terrace that sits above John Lewis is truly magical. If you’re a gin drinker, the Fever Tree gin garden is guaranteed to keep you liquored up all day. You can lay back and sip through the menu of carefully curated gins and tonics whilst enjoying the atmosphere. Take in the panoramic views or boogie away with live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from DJs to acoustic sessions. It simply isn’t Spring in London without rooftops.

For something a little different, Swingers should be your go-to. The funky venue takes crazy golf back to its seaside roots in a venue that re-imagines the faded glamour of the 1920s English Riviera. Step off the busy London streets into a British seaside setting of food, drinks and crazy golf. Test your nerve, skill and sobriety by making your way round the course. Looking for a little pick-me-up to help you win? Swingers has an ongoing list of cocktails to feast your eyes on… you can order from the bar or talk to a caddie who will deliver the drinks to you. Before you leave, don’t forget to get a photo on the podium!
