The Westbury Hotel in Mayfair, London was opened in 1955 by the Polo playing Phipps family. Since then the hotel has expanded tremendously. The Westbury now offers 246 bedrooms, of which 20 are suites where guests can be pampered with special amenities and exceptional service.

The Westbury Hotel also boasts the charismatic, charming and opulent Polo Bar, which offers some of the finest drinks and cocktails in Mayfair, London. In fact, the Polo Bar was recently voted “Best Hotel Bar of the Year” 2016 and ‘Best London Bar’ in 2014.

First visit to London with no expectations, simply wanted a central location for easy access and sightseeing.
Arrived on a long haul flight from Asia and was very appreciative of the great service and hospitality at check-in along with a great orientation of the offerings Westbury Mayfair.
Room was well maintained and properly furnished with a great bed for a good nights sleep. Bathroom and room fittings were also in great condition. While the central heating could definitely be improved, the team were kind enough to provide an external heater to keep me warm throughout my stay.
Every interaction I had with the hospitable team at Westbury Mayfair were attentive, friendly, genuine and warmth. They provided me a cosy, home away from home experience.
Definitely recommended property and will look forward to be back to experience more at Westbury Mayfair in future.
The Westbury Mayfair is a luxury hotel situated at the heart of the London high retail district. The hotel is at New Bond Street, next to some of the biggest fashion brands. Oxford, Bond Street and Picadilly are within walking distance. Our room was small but luxurious and quiet. The rate is in line with the rating. Our reservation did not include breakfast, so no comment on that.
In summary, a recommended hotel.
Air conditioning not functional and was not told before arrival. Was offered no remediation other than to move room (no AC there either).
No follow-up from hotel either despite being told there would be (I’m ambassador platinum).
Inspiring art collection in lobby that creates easy conversation with others. Attentive staff.
