Great location in the heart of Oxford Street. Clean rooms and excellent service. They could do with working on the sound proofing, as you can hear the TV in the next room, and the street noise, Eve on the seventh floor. Fortunately, the other guests seemed to whiten down after about 11pm. Excellent breakfast.
I've stayed here in the past and it's clear they haven't done anything in the last few years to update. Its a clean hotel but a bit basic. The location is great if you love to shop and the tube is right across the street making it easy to get anywhere.
Good location for shopping and dining. Staff at the front desk are nice and friendly.
The room look pretty good but the mattresses in my room and my parents' room are too out of shape. (we are a family of five, we have three rooms and two of them are bad) It has a big dent in the middle, gave me a backache.
Cleanliness is quit poor compare to the money we spent. I have a few strains of hair in one my towel and the drinking glass looks dirty.
The location of the hotel is great and the room had everything you need for a one night stay. However, if you want to get a good night's sleep and friendly service I can't recommend this hotel. I woke up at 4.30am to a loud alarm going off outside the hotel and after half an hour listening to it, I went down to the reception to ask for what was going on and if there were earplugs available. I was told by the receptionist there is nothing they can do and was offered a bottle of water as compensation. Luckily, I had brought headphones with me so I managed to get some sleep despite the loud alarm that continued till check out in the morning. I complained about the noise and not being able to sleep again at check out but the receptionist didn't seem to care at all. One of the worst sleeps I have had and the rude staff only made it worse.
Friendly and helpful front desk, had a very good welcoming experience. Staff in breakfast room could have been more polite.
Bedding was the worst nightmare for this grade of hotel, mattress was sunken in the middle caused bad back pain.
