Ibiza’s bohemian sister has come to London thanks to Spanish restaurant, Aqua Nueva who have transformed its terrace into the Balearic Island, Formentera.
Above the bustle of Oxford Street you’ll be transported to a sun trap (weather dependent) to enjoy a chilled atmosphere and sought-after views of London’s skyline.
To accompany your sky high experience is a selection of light and summery cocktails expertly mixed by Nico Peratinos with Ciroc Vodka. This includes include Nueva Spirit with Cîroc vodka, elderflower cordial, lime, sliced cucumber, ground pepper and topped with Cava; Sunset on Regent Street with Cîroc Red Berry, Aperol, Yellow chartreuse, honey, raspberry syrup and lime; or the Formentera Colada with Cîroc Summer Colada,
coconut cream, lime, pineapple, Manzanilla and Abbott’s bitters all priced at £13.
This year you can also indulge in an alcoholic dessert from a pretty parasoled bike which offers two flavours of Cîroc Vodka sorbets. Choose from Summer Colada and Red Berry flavours, both priced at £7.
And if you’re feeling peckish then Head chef Yahir Gonzalez has created Formentera-style dishes on both the a la carte and set summer menu to compliment the new terrace.
Groups can take advantage of large sharing plates on offer such as Grilled octopus with garlic and coriander dressing, red potato and lime black corn parcels. Mid-week, diners can also choose from the three course, summer menu with a cocktail, priced at £29 per person.
Don’t miss out on one of the West End’s most talked about destinations this summer. Aqua Nueva’s Formentera Terrace is open from 18th May until the end of the summer.
