About us

The Cock Tavern is an exuberant Victorian pub with giant glass lanterns outside and a wonderfully ornate interior. A long, narrow pub, it has a fair amount of seating and serves the usual range of Samuel Smith beers.

Nice little London pub which I go to fairly regularly. The beer is good, the atmosphere is good. Very lively, vibrant clientele - popular with student-aged punters. Don't come here for a 'quiet' chat in an evening - you will be drowned out!

An oasis in the desert. Samuel Smith's bitter in London and reasonably priced too. I only had time for one pint but it was lovely.

My local. Great name too. They've got these huge glass lanterns hanging outside that are beautiful to look at. Inside the decor is like all the Sam Smith pubs you'd find around London. Classic, wrought wood ornaments and fireplaces. What an old man pub should look like. Classy. The booze is great too and it's very reasonably priced compared to all non-Sam Smith publics.

Nice traditional pub just off Oxford Street. Gets very busy after work during the week but it's much more quiet at weekends. Friendly staff and good selection of Sam Smith's beers.

A nice, but not outstanding, hour spent here on Friday afternoon, out of the hustle and bustle of nearby Oxford Street. It's a Samuel Smith's pub, a fine Yorkshire brewery. I was disappointed though with a lack of non-Smith's options, especially on tap. The atmosphere was a little quiet, though you can't knock it for having a loyal band of regulars. It just felt a little forgotten somehow, a little un-loved.
