Trendy and relaxed. This place has the perfect atmosphere for when you've had a long week and need a bit of glam and fun without the pressure of pretentiousness.
The space and lighting is simply beautiful.
Staff are very friendly and positive. My friend and I had drinks at the bar and without us telling him the bartender knew we had a dinner booking later so offered to add the drinks to the overall bill. May sound simple and like a small gesture but it made us feel welcomed and taken care of. It was also my friend's birthday and every staff member that interacted with us wished her a happy birthday. The dessert arrived with a candle and a message. They definitely add little touches that make the experience feel special and personal.
That's why I can't detract a star for the food, which was the only downside. It was not bad at all but it did not match its price range. I ordered the pork belly and unfortunately it was hard and chewy on this occasion. My friend however had the chicken and said it was great. So it may have been a case of bad day/unlucky dish :)
I would go back there and you should too if you want ro make your partner feel special or just enjoy a good crowd with your friends or work colleagues.

Such a nice spot right at the centre of London! Has reasonable prices and quite nice food, but the ambiance is what really counts here. Try the truffle fries!

Great venue for breakfast. Highly recommend the poached eggs with crab. Venue is really lovely and quite large with facilities for a private dining are - great for business meetings but also really lovely on the weekend when Fitzrovia is quieter.

Food and atmosphere are lovely and all, but if their staff thinks it's ok to blatantly ignore people of colour and seat people behind them, then it's not exactly the establishment I can recommend to others or would like to return to in the future.

My partner and I were asked to wait as other couples with no reservations behind us were seated, even while some of them have commented 'they were here before us'. Sadly this place will earn my first one star review for London restaurants.
