Beautiful lounge area. Service was excellent from the moment we drove up to the front door. I can't remember the name of our waiter (Marco, Marcus something beginning with M. ) which I annoying because he was amazing and really deserves the praise for being part of an amazing afternoon.
He helped us choose tea , describing them and making recommendations.
We had sandwiches and then more were brought round if we wanted more. Followed by little sweet cream cakes. Then is was scones and cream. They were so lights and crumbly. Absolutely delicious. More were offered but we were so full up . After this there was another delicious little cake for us to share, this was put in a lovely little box for us to take home.
It was my husbands birthday treat and of waiter arranged for an amazing l cake to come out and we sang happy birthday to him. It looked like a velvet rose . It was incredible and tasted wonderful. I took the candle out before I had taken a photo so popped it back in . so it did look perfect originally.
It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely visit again

I dined here on a time out offer, 3 courses plus wine £35pp.

The atmosphere was calm and inviting, live music was being played and the lounge was comfortable, if not a little cold.

The service was 5 stars, the wine and cocktails were very nice, however the food left much to be desired.

The beetroot that accompanied the salmon starter was overly sweet, and the salmon tasted one dimensional. I was advised when ordering my main course that the lamb is recommended medium, to which I agreed, however, it came out cold and rare so had to be sent back. They did replace my meal quickly, but my partner had finished eating by the time it arrived.

The pear and ginger tatine was very nice and the extra desert they offered, I guess because of the issue with the lamb, was fruity and light.

Best afternoon tea in London! The attention to detail is fit for royalty and the pastries/cake options were all incredibly tasty and different! Often at an afternoon tea I skip the pastries/cakes as they are average compared to my favourite... the scones !... but at the Langham I ate all of them! Everything was tasty and they made our visit super special by wishing us a happy anniversary 🥂

Very nice afternoon tea. This was our first and only afternoon tea on our visit to London but I definitely recommend it! Sandwiches and pastries were great. I really liked the plain scone, the flavored one was not for me but still good according to my husband. We showed up late for our reservation after heading to the wrong place (our fault) and the staff was very nice, understanding, and helpful. Compared to many teas around the city this seemed to be cute, classy, affordable, and boozy. Tea and unlimited bubbly was around 49 euro per person (for 90 minutes). My husband and I had a blast. Check this place out!
