Does exactly what it says on the tin. Burgers and booze. Open very late. 'Come hungry leave wobbly' The original, accept no imitations. Eat in, takeaway and delivery via Deliveroo. *Kitchen closes 1 hour prior to listed closing time. 1/2 an hour on Sundays.
Without a doubt the best chicken burgers and wings ever. Overall great. Only issue I have had is the seating on arrival. Sometimes asked to stand around by the bar when tables clearly available. But the food is that good its worth the wait.
Meat Liquor should definitely be on your list if you're a fan of burgers and chicken! This particular restaurant is my favourite of the chain as it resembles something out of a zombie apocalypse, very dark and dingy interior with lots of deep reds and industrial, metal type decoration. The service is reasonable but they do get exceptionally busy and orders start taking longer to arrive and sides and sundries get forgotten about unless you repeatedly remind them. I have tried most of the items on the menu, with the dead hippie burger being my favourite. Food is always bought out hot and the portion sizes are very generous. Perfect place for a naughty cheat meal. Will most certainly return
Staff member got shirty with me when I politely asked about our table after waiting more than 30 minutes. I don't appreciate being spoken down to like that and will never be returning. Reading the other google reviews there seems to be a couple of reviews which concur about the attitude of the staff. Vote with your feet, there are many places which understand customer service and deserve and value your custom. This isn't one of them. Not sure why people are so keen on the food as it was also way too greasy compared to what other burger places.
I go purely for the chicken wings. My brother got me hooked on them. They are delicious and should honestly market the sauce used. Staff are friendly and the service is quick.
Cool joint for lager and burgers, but not so much if you're there just for the food on its own. The burger was indulgent, but perhaps a shade too greasy for my liking. Plus a lot of the patrons were clearly sozzled by 2.30pm on a Sunday, which is great, but not necessarily my kinda thing, on a Sunday anyhow.
A chain of restaurants well past its prime, but still worth an occasional visit.
