Worth a visit to this unique and quite amazing restaurant. Reasons that it hasn't earned a 5 star rating from me is that it we were somewhat crammed in with other customers on a table for four (we went as a pair), although we had an option to wait for a table, this was a bit of an annoyance as others were being seated after us and from what it sounded like, as we were near the door, they didn't have reservations. The staff were incredibly friendly and smiley which really suited the atmosphere of the room. The other star was lost due to a ridiculous habit of the London restaurants we visited adding a 'service charge' onto the receipt and refused to tell us, this is something that came across as cockiness. On the very much brighter side though, the food was delicious and worth it's value, even though the portions were not massive, we certainly left full due to the quality of it. The decor was amazing, graffiti all over the place, but done very tastefully and a rock/funk style music playing in the background made for a unique experience.
Excellent American style grill - Chicken wings with buffalo sauce, awesome burgers and fried chicken. I recommend the chilli-cheese fries too, a side big enough to share! Cool setting, with low lighting and funky artwork on the walls. Only downside is no beer on tap; all beer served is from cans. Cocktail menu is also available. Very well priced for London however 👍
Outstanding. Going here for 6+years, still amazing. Great meat, gear liquor. Burgers are always perfectly cooked, chicken wings are superb. Cocktails are super and strong. Great atmosphere, brilliant music, good staff. Favourite burger place in London - others come and go, meatLiquor just keeps cooking!
Obsessed with their chicken wings - straight up. Banging these out on a Thursday night with friends is a pleasure I feel every Londoner should experience.
When I first visited this place I was in shock at how good it, it set a standard. The burgers and bits on trays, the hill-billy esq food - it was banging.
I feel as they’ve expanded their roots have slightly lost their soul - but the food is still on point, the staff are so cool to be one, but the design and atmosphere is amazing.
I had the opportunity to check this place out. It's a great casual dining experience in London. The vibe in this place is casual and dark with plenty of music. I ordered the dead hippie burger and gravy fries and it was delicious. Overal it was a great dining experience and would recommend meat liquor to anyone.
