Pizza making class was really fun and something different. All the staff are very friendly and the chefs were great! Food was amazing as well. All this added with the general atmosphere made a great lunch/early dinner option! Portions are very generous as well.
Friendly, great food, really cute location. Try the black dough pizza, the charcoal in the crust looks awesome. All the pizza had a beautifully chewy base and the range was really interesting. Prices are also really reasonable, especially considering the location. We were there for dinner but it would make a great lunch spot.
I went to the restaurant at 6:30pm and the restaurant was practically empty. We were seated in a dark table at the back. We asked to be seated at one of the other empty tables but we were told they were booked. We had dinner and I paid the bill. I just noticed we were charged £2 for "open food". What was that? We were charged for everything we ordered. Really disappointed by hidden charges and will not go there again.
You're pretty much paying for "Mayfair", is it worth it? - No.
We ordered pizza and 'shoelace' fries, pizza was decent.
Drinks, £5 for apple juice, though they ran out, and I asked for OJ instead.
What's baffling is that, they ask us if we wanted ice - we said no, our drinks came with ice - is there any point in asking?
Lastly, this was quite insulting.
'Shoelace' fries.. I'm not an idiot, they literally served me ordinary sized fries, which were worse than McDonalds - warm, soggy.
Just so you know.. the shoelace fries were 4.50.. so yes, I do expect perfect shoelace fries, and if you're not going to serve it - then don't try to replace it, ask me first..
Though they did tell me they were going to close early at 10, we came around 9.05pm? I didn't know it was a way to tell us that some dishes will be rubbish.
Other than the expensive mediocre, misleading food - the staff were actually quite friendly.
Well a decent enough Pizza but the value for money is what lets this place down... £15 for a pizza, even in Mayfair, you expect top quality and this falls short of that. You can get two better pizzas at Franca Manca for that price. Service was good but there are better places value wise in the area.
