Konditor & Cook is a ‘21st century cake shop’ and with six shops based in London, its mission is to bring Joy. It was launched by Gerhard Jenne over 20 years ago and is now run by his partner Paul Cons who is CEO. They offer affordable luxury providing hand-crafted celebration cakes, brownies and mini bakes with “love baked in” which is the quality of the ingredients such as organic eggs and natural butter. They also run a range of cake baking and decorating classes at their Cake School and you can order their cakes for delivery or collection online or through their ‘Cake Hotline’ for anyone in desperate need of some cake!
Absolutely great cake! There's not much more to the place. I wouldn't recommend anything else from here, but the cake alone speaks for itself. Definitely worth a try.
Amazing experience at a cake tasting session, staff were super friendly and cakes were dreamy!
The bubbly memories I get back when thinking about this place are so nostalgic. It is right next to my university and the cosy feeling I got when I stepped is something that I will never forget.
Talking about life and dreams with a great friend over some amazing cake is simply one of the best feelings you can give to someone who loves the simplicity that life has along with a little more to it, for example its details.
I now associate the uniqueness of the chocolate noisette with the glory of friendship and the beauty of joy in life form the simple things.
Simply amazing. Can't wait to go back!
Good moist cake. Unremarkable coffee. Inattentive staff.
London Patisserie is usually dreadful compared to mainland Europe and Asia but Konditor and Cook is actually pretty good. They used to do really good mini lemon meringue but no more, the larger size still on offer isn't as good. My favourite thing they sell is Lebkuchen which you can only get at Christmas. I wish they would sell it all year around.
