Great service! The cake I bought was fresh when eaten 24 hours after it was purchased. They give a cake guide to help you make the most out of your purchase. The packaging was also great to transport. I bought the Red Velvet cake which is suitable for vegetarians as are all of their cakes. It tasted fresh and really nice. Really pleased with the overall experience with Hummingbird!
Didn't know they had a store in this place so was pleasantly surprised that it showed up on my maps while I was walking around this area admiring the Christmas lights. Well laid out store with seating options (not much though) and the all so famous collection of cupcakes and cakes. My favourite here has always been the red velvet cake and wish they did few more flavours around chocolate and not just the mile high salted caramel chocolate cake which I always see in store (quite popular I believe).
Honestly the most amazing cakes I have ever tasted !! 😍😍 I always order them for birthdays and if I have to get cakes for anyone I get them from there too. There cream frosting is to die for !! And they have rainbow cakes and red velvet cakes to choose from! A definite must!!
I have been wanting to visit here for over a year! It was worth it. Slightly disappointing that the only gluten free option was red velvet but it was delicious!. The sponge was soft and the frosting was the perfect balance of cream cheese.
My husband loved the red velvet brownie!
Please expand the gluten free option to give me more reasons to come back and try something new!
Cakes so pretty you wouldn’t be able to resist. I was glad that the topping on the red velvet cupcake was indeed cream cheese and not pure icing. However the cream cheese layer is coated with icing and was so sickeningly sweet I felt slightly nauseous after one cupcake and had to wait a couple of hours before moving on to the salted caramel cupcake. But if you like pure sugar, this may not bother you.
