I really enjoyed this place. The service was great. I had the fish and chips. My food came out very quickly, and was fresh and very hot. Both the fish and chips were not super seasoned but they didn't need to be; the fish was served with lemon and tartar sauce, and the chips with salt and vinegar. The fish was crispy, and the chips were well-cooked. The price was not super cheap, but the portions we're generous. I will definitely return next time I'm in London.
Great food. The staff was very kind and generous in helping me after I left my phone and wallet in a black cab. Not only did my dilemma end with returned belongings, I have gained a lifelong friend. I will visit Gig’s during every future trip through London and I hope you will also.
Had the Cod Fish and Chips. Good food. The start serving dinner at 6pm. We got there late and waited a bit for a table. Got a table at 7pm and the order came out super quick.
Gigs was amazing. Food quality, and service was great! The server was giving us knowledge on what makes great fish and chips and this place defiantly delivered. The fries were freshly cut and fried. The fish was very fresh as well. My husband got a lamb dish, and since has returned to get it again!
Overall was okay, it was brought really fast so that automatically made it look like as if it was already cooked and they warmed it up. It was slightly more oily which could have been avoided.
