Amazing restaurant. Food and wine all incredible. Very attentive service. Will definitely be going back to try more! Approx £50 a head though so not an average meal out.

Set out over 2 levels - a more formal ground floor with a livelier basement bar & tables this small but welcoming place is a real find.
Part of the excellent Salt Yard group that we have had terrific experiences with. Our first visit found the food fresh, cooked to perfection and delivered by friendly knowledgeable staff with a pleasant attitude.
Clearly already on the radar .....sadly the evening we visited was over-filled with some noisy morons. Don’t let that put you off, this is a great place that we will happily visit again. Not overpriced for the area & within reach of Soho, a definite ‘must try’.

First time, the wife and i, ever came to the restaurant was amazing. prefect service. perfect food. we ended up going to every single other sale yard group placement because of it. second time? absolutely the worst experience of our time in london in 3 years. we had the most amazing perfect day (we both work in this industry, husband being Michelin star and wife being in high in rosettes) decided that we wanted to make a trip back to ember yard to celebrate a special day for private reasons. looked up the menu online, booked our table. we requested a seat and we got told we could not be guaranteed as they were busy. as we showed up, they must have had a total of about 10 covers in the entire placement. a table of 4, 2, 2, 2 that we could count. our table empty. we got it, as we got up to the table a server had joined us. wife tried to take the menu as it was offered it to her but the head waiter decided to ignore the gesture of trying to take it and still placed it on the table. we got offered drinks, obviously the server had poured the husband a drink first, followed to give the wife a drink which resulted in walking away without a smile or any sort or gesture. we looked at the menu, and saw that the entire menu was different from what was offered online. we had asked and inquired what was with this and we got offered a "special" deal on the mains which could have been small portions into half price. still, even though we did not want special treatments had the special treatment now. we declined. literally one of the worst new management and ways to turn around a new view of a place. horrible experience to a ruin a perfect day. really wish the people that worked front house especially management could go work at a fast food chain where they could maybe at least learn how to interact with the public.

Went this evening for a meal in a group of 6 of us for my husband’s 60th birthday. We had the set menu at £35 a head.
The second course was trout. Unfortunately, I don’t eat fish, so we asked if I could have a couple of slices of serano ham. Was told this was not possible as it was not on that course of the menu ( we had had it the previous course!)
This seems very petty and has put me off ever returning to this restaurant. There are plenty of other eateries to chose from in London and in my opinion, this is incredibly shortsighted.
Bad decision.

Nice ambiance but if you're hungry be prepared to order lots of expensive tapas... Their sizes are ridiculously small... if want a. Spanish experience there are a lot of other places available in London.
