Perfect place - ideally located in a back street where you can enjoy eating on the terrace -. Ed's makes it fun to chew on tasty American specialties and spend a memorable moment back in time, enjoying 50s music in a clean colorful surrounding. I tasted a mouthwatering Mac N Cheese Mountain: beef, Mac & cheese, more cheese, lettuce, tomato, gherkins, mustard and mayo. There were delicious and crispy waffle fries on the side. You were already devouring the plate with your eyes. There was a soda fountain where you can mix drinks and syrups to your taste. I tried the vanilla diet Pepsi and thought it was sweet and palatable. As I hadn't eaten something really decent during the day, I swallowed my plate eagerly but somehow left half of the beef, as it was too much meat for me. We came in 7 minutes prior closing time, so a special credit for the staff members who were extra nice and made our experience at Ed's very enjoyable.

Mr partner said the all day breakfast was great and my Halloumi burger was generous and tasty. The food was delivered promptly and everyone was very helpful. Overall a nice spot for lunch away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. The only downsides were the small size of the unit and it was a little expensive. Still recommended though.

I really didn’t want to give this restaurant a bad review but a business has a responsibility to manage delivery vendors. Ordered £30 worth of food through Uber eats - food cooked & picked up by driver- driver failed to deliver thus cancelled food -fully refunded. Called restaurant to inform why they would notice an exact second order from us. Another £30 worth of food ordered via Ubereats - food cooked - than nothing. “Uber calls to say restaurant handed food to a different delivery partner that was not them & I’d be fully refunded” so 3 1/2hrs later with restaurant closed & no food. Really wanted to try eating here probably never will now and avoid ubereats app

Fantastic American style food and amazing shakes!!
They do an unlimited breakfast where you order your breakfast choice and then keep ordering it until 11:30am. The stack attack is awesome!!!

If you order a shake, my recommendation is to add malt to thicken the shake. They are quite pricey at £4.95-ish, but they are definitely worth the money.

Another really good thing is that they have jukebox and you can pay 20p and choose your own diner soundtrack song. All the proceeds from the jukeboxes go to charity.

Overall I love this place and is one of my favourite restaurants to visit.
