Went for a team Christmas lunch and had a great time! Starter was breaded calamari which was a little bit too oily but still nice, main was a steak (rare) which was cooked perfectly and the accompanying sauce went really well with it and for dessert I tried creme brulee for the first time and was not disappointed. The service was very friendly and fast as well!

I didn't want to post pictures as it would embarrass the staff and chef. My family go to Cote fairly often as the level of service and quality is consistent and good. This was our first visit to the Oxford Circus branch and it was very disappointing. There were at least 12-14 tables seated but 3 service staff. It took a full ten minutes for them to take our orders. It then took at least 30 min before the food arrived. The worst bit was for the Full English Breakfast all of the bacon was charred (over-fried) except one half of a piece which looked completely uncooked. The manager said the bacon was smoked beforehand so no issue of uncooked meat. He was kind enough to offer another portion but only two microwaved slices came. By the time that dish was sorted most of the other people around the table had about finished.

I don't really think its fair to fault the staff. I think it is an organisational issue. Understaffed restaurants always underperform due to stress and inability to manage the workload.

I was a huge fan of Cote. I now think it really depends on which location you visit. Don't think I can recommend it now to friends without having personally visited a particular location.

I always enjoy a visit to Cote Brasserie no matter which branch: and the Oxford Circus branch is no exception.

Clean, tidy, good service and reliable.

Thank you Cote for always delivering.

I would give zero stars if I could because we left after 40 minutes without having even been served the drinks, which we asked for more than once. Service was shambles and the manager was nowhere to be seen. A shame because I used to go there every 3-4 months.
