Sat outside and the ambience was perfect! Heaters kept me toasty on a cold evening! Would definitely recommend! The servers were friendly and helpful! Couldn’t have picked a better place! Right next to oxford street too so perfect after a day sight seeing, walking and shopping!
Dreadful service, staff need to learn how to speak to customers properly.
Waiter asked what we wanted for our mains after being sat for two minutes, I asked for a little more time and he walked off in a huff. Next he comes back and I order a Steak. Instead of asking me “How would you like your steak” which is how it is done in every other restaurant, he says “Is there anything else you would like to tell me about your steak?” in a condescending tone.
The restaurant also has the nerve to add in a fee to the middle of the bill for a cover charge (this basically means due to their poor service appropriate causing a lack of tips, they ensure you have to pay additional for an already overpriced meal.
Additional comment: Steaks were burned and toilets were filthy.
The Steak at this place is absolutely legendary. Best rump I've ever had. Would definately recommend for a lunch, dinner or a date.
Oxford Circus Branch: If you are really into steaks do not and I repeat do not come here. Try something like the Argentine restauran called Gaucho, there steaks are superior to Angus Steakhouse. I mean, I'm not saying these guys as terrible but it is very clear that the while Angus Steakhouse restaurant chain is targeted at tourists, hence why you see many of them distributed around Leicester Square and other parts of the West End. I had a medium done T-bone steak which tasted rather bland, definitely not the best I have had and it was overpriced in my opinion. So to summarise, I view the Angus Steakhouse as the McDonald's of steaks.
Unfriendly service. Manger was good. Steak was awful.
