Really great afternoon tea. My friend took me for my birthday and we had a great Alice in wonderland experience. All the place settings and cake stands and little cakes fitted right in with the theme. I had the Cheshire cat tea, which was delicious with a hint of chocolate - wish I could buy it! Our waiter was really welcoming and attentive (but not too attentive). We sat outside and even though it was the middle of winter we still felt warm and comfortable thanks to the heaters and blankets on the chairs. I'd definitely go again!

We visited the place at a late evening for afternoon tea so we did the tipsy version and it a pleasant surprise. The cocktails were rather good and most of the savory snacks and sweets were also tasty.
Nice atmosphere and beautifully decorated space made the evening even more pleasant.

Five stars for the overall experience, flavor, food selection, ambiance, and creativity of the menu and presentation! The only thing negative to say would be the price...but I would splurge for this special treat. They seem quite busy, so make sure you have lots of time to spend to fully relax and enjoy it. I was expecting to want to go get dinner after this, but I was quite full after all the savory sandwiches and delicious sweets. The sandwiches might look small, but they are stacked with a pretty good helping of each ingredient. We were even too full to eat our cute mushroom cap marshmallows. The waiter came back after we were all full and offered us anything more to drink, so we asked if cappuccinos or a hot mocha was included in the price or extra. He assured us it was included. So we had a delicious mocha to end our magnificent afternoon tea. 5 stars for a truly enjoyable experience. (Visited Dec 1, 2017)

Really poor experience with the manager for afternoon tea I had helped organise, unpleasant over inaccurate pricing, tried to charge the vegans full price on the limited menu, unfriendly and unhelpful, made me feel like a problem for me being lactose intolerant. I ended up in tears! Food is good but for poor service I wouldn't recommend. Was on verge of formally complaining.

I enjoyed a lovely birthday tea with my friends. They served some great Alice in Wonderland themed teas and the deserts that went along with the tea were also themed. The decor inside the tea house wasn't themed though. My favourite tea was the Mad Hatters tea.
