New Year, new diet, right? Well you’re in luck as this month Waitrose’s Cookery School will be in John Lewis’ Demonstration Kitchen every Wednesday and Thursday. Get a front row seat for new and exciting ideas on eating more healthy as Head Chef Andrew Ward from the Waitrose Cookery School will be doing the live demos.

Monday 4 – Tuesday 5 January, 10.30am – 4pm

Demonstration Kitchen, Lower ground

On the menu : Avocado rose, sourdough, chorizo jam with poached eggs, granola fruit pots, super juices & smoothies

 

Wednesday 11 – Thursday 12 January, 12am – 5.30pm

Demonstration Kitchen, Lower ground

On the menu : Baked cod, sweet potato and charred broccoli, Sea bass, chilli, lemongrass and noodles cooked en papillote and Steamed haddock, cauliflower couscous salad.

 

Wednesday 18 – Thursday 19 January, 12am – 5.30pm

Beetroot burger

On the menu : Hispi and bulgar wheat burrito, Beetroot and lentil burger and Southern baked cauliflower, charred gem with chilli and lemon buttered corn.

 

Wednesday 25 – Thursday 26 January, 12am – 5.30pm

Demonstration Kitchen, Lower ground

On the menu : Free from pasta with charred squash and seed pesto, Leek and smoked haddock tartlet and Chocolate brownie and bakewell tart.
