Good food, good prices. I'm from the American south and while this isn't quite American BBQ(TM), it's darn close. The best I've had in London, for sure. Tasty dishes, a good dining environment, and a very unique buffalo sandwich I can't get enough of. The upstairs is a more casual dining experience, while the downstairs is more of a "sit down" experience. Would recommend. I've been three times now and will be going back for more.

Frankly disappointing. We built a substantial platter for two and nothing on it blew me away. The baby back ribs were pretty dry and needed a lot of extra sauce. The burnt ends I'd imagined to be melt-in-the-mouth tender but were in fact rather chewy. The chicken wings didn't come with any dip (the whole reason I ordered them) and the fries were very average, a bit floury even. It was a huge pile of meat with all the same basic BBQ flavour. Service was fairly lax at times and in terms of atmosphere and decor it all felt a bit tired down in the dining room; sticky, greasy, and with an uninspiring interior. Wouldn't go again, unfortunately, even with 30% off.

Food is amazing! Service lets the place down sadly. Waiting staff stood by the bar area just chatting and not attentive to their tables at all. If this was sorted then this would be one of my favourite places to eat!

Disappointing
Called in around 5pm on Saturday and was met by staff telling me downstairs was full but I could sit upstairs. Fine. Chose our food and went to pay the cashier who continued her conversation with her friend throughout. Ordered platter for two and chicken wings to start. Platter arrived in under 5 mins and starter cane later - chicken wings clearly weren't just kept under a heat lamp. When we were leaving, 3 staff members were chatting by the door and didn't move to allow us exit or say anything about coming again or enjoying the food. There are plenty of better restaurants in Soho for less money.

Bodeans is one of my favourite eateries, they have great pulled pork and ribs, the staff are friendly. It's broken up into two areas, downstairs is the restaurant and upstairs is more of a American cafe with American sports playing on a few televisions (low volume), they also have seating outside. I wouldn't recommend for vegetarians though, as the menu is mainly meat based. Everyone I've taken there has enjoyed their meal and enjoyed the experience of Bodeans.
