Years later, the Bodean’s family of diner-delis goes from strength to strength – the results of a tireless team effort dedicated to delivering Authentic American BBQ.Today, the Bodean’s BBQ team are always out and about making sure that the slow-smoked BBQ, secret rubs and sauce recipes are up to scratch, and the BBQ obsession and attention as seen in KC are kept alive.
Since our arrival the waitress asked us insistently when we would go to order, she threatened to take away the table, even that we had already ordered beers and it had only been 10 minutes since the beginning of the reservation. We ordered, the food was not bad, we enjoyed the birthday cake and again the waitress with an aggressive tone asking if we could go. Thep place was empty, we went at lunchtime. in the end we paid £400, but we will never repeat the lived atmosphere. I do not recommend it. absolutely not
OK BBQ in Soho. Good sized portions but not much in the way of presentation. Your order is sort of presented as a concept and then you decide which sauce to finish it off with, as if BBQ was really just a sauce on meat. Quite cramped upstairs with the over-lit area suggesting the crowd should eat it and beat it, but the locals like to linger. Didn't help that there was a football match on (multiple televisions), so many of the boys just hung around to watch
There appears to be a well-stocked bar, which looks out of place in the cafeteria surroundings. Downstairs looks like a different place - darker with banquettes
Went to this eatery with a bunch of mates and was not sure what to expect.
The other five guys shared huge platters and I had a ribeye steak.
All the food came out together and I ate my steak, some sausage and some burnt ends from the guy’s sharing platter and my god was it good.
I tasted one burnt end and it was so damn tasty I even considered leaving my steak for exclusively then and had to limit myself to one burnt end to every four mouthfuls of beef.
In the end we’d eaten so much meat I thought I’d need to be rolled out the door. It was amazing.
Next time I’m in London with the family I’m definitely steering them all here. Pukka.
I would have given 5 stars if the place was just a little bigger. not enough tables and the ones they have are waaaaay too close to each other. Food was great.

-1 ⭐️ for the rudest waitress ever whom I called over after the looong wait and rudely said ‘it’s not my job to serve..’
Well darling, rather than sit on your phone at the front go and bloody fetch someone who will! (And then have the nerve to ask for a 12.5% service fee on the bill!)
