Blanchette Soho is a French bistro serving simple, classic and inventive French food. Its concept is based on the idea of sharing, from smaller snacks such as Croque Monsieur, Crispy frog’s legs, charcuterie and cheese, to larger traditional dishes with a Blanchette twist. A fine selection of drinks, including a variety of French wines and classic cocktails, are also available.Founded in 2013 by brothers Maxime, Malik and Yannis, the quintessentially Parisian restaurant is named after their mother. Maxime and Yannis have, between them, almost 30 years of experience in hospitality having worked in top restaurants across London, New York and Paris.Music also plays a big part at Blanchette, with Malik, founder of sound design company La Musique du Faubourg, providing the soundtrack to ensure a buzzing and convivial atmosphere.Private dining is available in The Jungle Room, Blanchette's dedicated space for private parties. It accomodates up to 14 people and it features a stunning hand-painted rain forest themed mural by artist Aldo Gigli.
When I ordered food I was told that I hadn't ordered the correct food. Never do that to a customer. I am not a child - I know what I wanted to order. Having changed my order 'as instructed' I realised that my original order was actually what I really wanted.
Apart from that the food was very salty.
No offence guys but I will go out of my way to recommend that people avoid your restaurant until you close.
Super sweet place to drop in for a quick snack lunch in Soho, fresh bread and olives hit the spot. I really enjoyed their menu and the cocktails were great
Came here on a bit of a whim and was pleasantly surprised. All the food we had was absolutely delicious, cosy atmosphere and lovely service. A really lovely experience of 'french tapas'
The space is very beautiful. Food portions are tapas size but the average price is £10-£12 per portion which is a bit expensive. Staff was helpful but could be a bit better trained.
Very overpriced for such small portions, bland taste and most of the stuff is grossly overcooked and soaked in fried oil.
