Headline band was Baxter Dury - son of The late Ian of the 80s band the blackheads.

We arrived on the back of two VIP Tickets and drinks reasonably priced.

Very polished show sponsored by Fred Perry, and the club was full of the very trendy set on the night.

Fabulous smallish downstairs Club - visit if you can.

A great live music venue with bags of history. Pictures on the walls show all the great artists and bands that have played here.
Good beers served too.

The 100 club is a very famous Jazz and Blues venue. It is essentially a basement club which makes it quite dark and atmospheric. It is well equipped with air conditioning and two bars. Drinks (considering location) are not massively expensive but served in plastic glasses 🙁. Sound quality was surprisingly poor basements don't have a good acoustic to start with, but on our visit the volume and was very high to the extent some notes made things rattle and buzz in the club. Surprising as this was not a rock concert. If you of a certain age bring ear plugs.... In Jazz and Blues less is often more.... Lots of those subtle, complex developments in the music were sacrificed for pure power and volume. 😖 An opportunity missed.

Loads of musical history here. Live sound in a box. Drinks are a little pricey, but you are in Oxford Street so not unexpected.

Great venue but sound let's it's down. Especially when they have such a great band like Headline Maniac playing last Saturday. Amazing band.
