Robbie Williams lights up Marmite Oxford Street Christmas Lights
Monday 5November 2012
International pop superstar Robbie Williams quite literally lit up London’s West End, as he switched on the Marmite Oxford Street Christmas Lights on 5 November following an incredible festive live show that wowed shoppers and fans!
Oxford Street was treated to live performances from Rock DJ to Different and new single ‘Candy’ from latest album ‘Take the Crown’ that launched internationally, today.
And as if that wasn’t festive-spirited enough, Mr Williams was also accompanied by world-wide meg-star Leona Lewis who took to the stage to perform Trouble and Lovebirds, as well as latest four-piece band Lawson who sang Taking Over Me and Standing in The Dark and the cast of top West End theatre show, Scrooge. If you were there we want to hear from you, be sure to get in touch @OxfordStreetW1 Facebook or Twitter!
And the festive fun just keeps going… this year’s super cool lights display will let you quite literally see your face in lights on our first ever interactive screen as Marmite invites you to pull your very best ‘love it or hate it’ expression.
Simply upload your picture to the app on Marmite’s Facebook page and voila – whether you’re in London or Los Angeles you’re face will be seen by thousands on one of the world’s busiest streets (so best not be camera shy)!
Now we just hope Santa’s as good to us all on Christmas morning!
